Dzięki zastosowaniu rozróżnianego przestrzennie algorytmu uogólnionego przewidywania-maksymalizacji (SAGE) zespołowi udało się przekonwertować przepływy źródłowe na promienie dla zasięgu MR-FDPF wewnątrz budynków. Kolejnym zadaniem była optymalizacja planowania sieci wewnątrz budynku i ograniczenie zakłóceń w makrokomórkach powodowanych przez femtokomórki.
