The peacekeeping budget for 2014/15 would probably amount to more than $8 billion, owing to additional expenditures resulting from the establishment of new missions, such as the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA), and the strengthening of existing operations, such as the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS).
