ولاحظت اللجنة أنَّ حكومة اليابان قد دعت وفوداً إلى الإسهام في المؤتمر العالمي الثالث المعني بالحد من أخطار الكوارث، المقرَّر عقده في سنداي باليابان، في الفترة من 14 إلى 18 آذار/مارس 2015، من أجل تعزيز دور التطبيقات الفضائية في الحد من مَواطن الضعف لدى السكان وفي البنية التحتية.

The Committee noted that the Government of Japan had invited delegations to contribute to the Third World Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction, to be held in Sendai, Japan, from 14 to 18 March 2015, to promote the role of space-based applications in reducing vulnerabilities of populations and infrastructure.
