本发明公开了一种视频会议恢复方法及系统,包括:在视频会议中,主用多点控制单元MCU和备用MCU同步信令消息和媒体码流;其中,所述主用MCU的IP地址与外部通信网连通,所述备用MCU的IP地址与外部通信网断开;当所述主用MCU发生故障时,进行主备切换,将所述主用MCU的IP地址与外部通信网断开,且将所述备用MCU的IP地址与外部通信网连通。 本发明所述的视频会议恢复方法及系统,在视频会议进行过程中,当设备出现故障的时候,实现信令消息及媒体码流的无缝切换,用户基本感受不到会议中断,极大地提高了用户体验。
