One representative, speaking on behalf of a group of countries, said the decision on the date for the closure of the Quick Start Programme trust fund should be left to the Quick Start programme Executive Board in order to maximize the use of resources, including the possible redeployment of staff, and that the budget for staff should be reduced as appropriate as the trust fund neared closure.
