تطلب إلى إدارة الشؤون السياسية وإدارة شؤون الإعلام أن تأخذا في الاعتبار اقتراحات اللجنة الخاصة المعنية بحالة تنفيذ إعلان منح الاستقلال للبلدان والشعوب المستعمرة الداعية إلى مواصلة جهودهما الرامية إلى اتخاذ تدابير من خلال جميع وسائط الإعلام المتاحة، بما فيها المنشورات والإذاعة والتلفزيون، وكذلك شبكة الإنترنت، للتعريف بأعمال الأمم المتحدة في ميدان إنهاء الاستعمار، والقيام بجملة أمور منها:

Requests the Department of Political Affairs and the Department of Public Information to take into account the suggestions of the Special Committee on the Situation with regard to the Implementation of the Declaration on the Granting of Independence to Colonial Countries and Peoples to continue their efforts to take measures through all the media available, including publications, radio and television, as well as the Internet, to give publicity to the work of the United Nations in the field of decolonization and, inter alia:
