وعبارة "بصيغتها المعدلة بموجب التحفظ" التي تتكرر مرتين في الفقرة 3 والتي تنطبق بنفس القدر على حقوق والتزامات صاحب التحفظ والأطراف الأخرى التي أُنشئ التحفظ إزاءها، يقصد بها توجيه الاهتمام إلى تنوع هذه الآثار.

The phrase “as modified by the reservation”, which is repeated twice in paragraph 3 and refers both to the rights and obligations of the author of the reservation and to those of the other parties with regard to which the reservation is established, is intended to draw attention to the diversity of these effects.
