Die freiennin hydrinpositiven Substanzen wurden säulenchromatographisch vomM. longissimus dorsi von 5 Rindern, 8 Kälbern, 10 Schweinen, vom ventralen Teil der Halsmuskulatur von 2 Jungbullen, imM. psoas eines Schweines und von einer fett- und bindegewebsarmen Fleischprobe vom Zwergwal (Balaenoptera acutorostrala, Lac.) bestimmt.

The free ninhydrinreactive substances were estimated by column chromatography in theM. longissimus dorsi of 5 heifers, 8 calves, 10 hogs, in the ventral part of the cervical region of 2 young beef bulls, in theM. psoas of 1 hog and in one meat sample of the little piked whale (Balaenoptera acutorostrata, Lac.) which was poor in adipose tissue and connective tissue.
