وفي هذا الصدد، أكد عدد من الوفود أن اللاجئين الذين يظل لديهم خوف مبرر من الاضطهاد، رغم التغييرات التي وقعت في البلد الأصلي، ينبغي أن يستمروا في تلقي الحماية الدولية والاستفادة من الحلول الدائمة الأخرى، مثل الإدماج المحلي أو إعادة التوطين.

In this regard, a number of delegations stressed that refugees who continue to have a well-founded fear of persecution, despite changes in the country of origin, should continue to receive international protection and benefit from other durable solutions, such as local integration or resettlement.

En este sentido, varias delegaciones subrayaron que los refugiados que siguieran abrigando un temor justificado de la persecución, a pesar de los cambios que se hubiesen producido en el país de origen, debían seguir recibiendo protección internacional y teniendo acceso a otras soluciones duraderas, como por ejemplo la integración local o el reasentamiento.

В этой связи некоторые делегации подчеркивали, что беженцы, которые испытывают обоснованные опасения в отношении их преследования, несмотря на изменения в стране происхождения, должны и далее пользоваться международной защитой и иметь возможность воспользоваться такими мерами, которые предоставляет долговременное решение проблемы, как местная интеграция или переселение.
