• WD support has enabled the University of Regina to become a leader in climate change research through the new Greenhouse Gas Technology Centre, the International Test Centre for Carbon Dioxide Capture, the Prairie Adaptation Research Collaborative (PARC) and the associated work of the Petroleum Technology Research Centre, which is the leading research centre for the study of heavy oil in the world.

• Avec l'appui de DEO, l'Université de Regina est devenue un chef de file dans la recherche sur les changements climatiques grâce au nouveau Centre de technologie sur les gaz à effets de serre, au Centre international d'essai pour la capture du gaz carbonique, à la Coopérative des Prairies pour la recherche en adaptation et aux travaux connexes du Centre de recherche en technologie pétrolière, le centre de recherche le plus reconnu au monde pour l'étude du pétrole lourd.
