Within the framework of the above-indicated training courses, particular attention is focused on international law standards in the field of human rights and freedoms, specifically, on international law guarantees of protection of the rights of those who have been indicted, those who are standing trial and those who have been convicted; on the minimum standards for the rules for handling detained persons; on protection of all persons from torture or other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment, etc.
