ولمنظومة الأمم المتحدة دور هام يجب أن تؤديه في ذلك السياق: ولكي تصبح عنصر تغيير وتساهم في التحول العالمي، يجب أن تعيد تحديد محور تركيز شراكتها مع الحكومات وتعيد تحديد توجيهها بينما تواصل الحكومات وضع وتنفيذ استراتيجياتها للتنمية المستدامة القادرة على الصمود في مواجهة المناخ والمنخفضة الانبعاثات.

The United Nations system had an important role to play in that context: to become an agent of change and contribute to the global transformation, it must refocus and reorient its partnership with Governments as they continued to develop and implement their sustainable-development and climate-resilient low emission strategies.
