وباسم وفد الإمارات العربية المتحدة، أعرب عن شكرنا وتقديرنا لرئيس الفريق العامل المفتوح العضوية المعني بمسألة التمثيل العادل في مجلس الأمن وزيادة عدد أعضائه والمسائل الأخرى ذات الصلة ونائبيه لما جاء في تقريرهم الأخير من معلومات قيِّمة تعكس بشكل أو بأخر مدى الجهود الكبيرة التي بذلوها من أجل تحقيق التوافق في الآراء حول ما نسعى إليه جميعا في مجال تعزيز التمثيل الدولي في مجلس الأمن وشفافية تنفيذ المسؤوليات المناطة به في مجالي صون وحفظ الأمن والسلم الدوليين.

On behalf of the delegation of the United Arab Emirates, I would also like to express our gratitude and appreciation to the Chairman and two Vice-Chairpersons of the Open-ended Working Group on the Question of Equitable Representation on and Increase in the Membership of the Security Council and other Matters related to the Security Council for the valuable information contained in the Group’s recent report (A/59/47).
