The Fabada is the Asturias dish per excellence although there are others of not less culinary value like the meat with vegetables stew, the chickpeas with cod or the Asturian Pote. In the confectionery, the doughnut-like biscuit of San Blas, the mouth-watering rice pudding and the custards are not to be missed not forgetting the rich Carbayon or the elaborated fine chocolates, of international renown.
