Action Canada pour la population et le développement, la Fédération des femmes et de la planification familiale et le Comité d’Amérique latine pour la défense des droits de la femme, dans une déclaration conjointe, ont exprimé leur satisfaction devant la déclaration du Gouvernement indien reproduite au paragraphe 84 du document final du Groupe de travail et la précision selon laquelle ce n’était pas l’homosexualité mais l’homophobie qui avait été importée de l’Occident.
Action Canada for Population and Development, the Federation for Women and Family Planning and the Latin American Committee for the Defence of Women Rights, in a joint statement, noted their appreciation for the statement of the Indian Government as reflected in paragraph 84 of the Working Group outcome report and welcomed the understanding that it is not homosexuality, but homophobia which is a western import.
