As indicated in the press release from the secretary of state responsible for Parks Canada announcing the tabling of this bill, this is a most appropriate name since the new park will protect the calving grounds of the Bluenose caribou

Comme le soulignait le secrétaire d'État responsable de Parcs Canada dans son communiqué annonēant le dépōt de ce projet de loi, ce nom est tout à fait approprié car, et je cite: «Ce nouveau parc permettra de protéger les terres de mise bas de la harde de caribous de Bluenose»
