Unfortunately it left before Hanna had her camera ready. A couple of hours we were birding near our tents but all the birds were the same as in the evening: Shore Larks, Twites, Great Rosefinches, Güldenstädt’s Redstarts, Alpine Accentors but Caucasian Snowcocks were silent!
Pari tuntia kolusimme teltan lähiympäristöä, mutta linnusto oli hyvin pitkälti samaa kuin illallakin oli ollut: tunturikiuruja, vuorihemppoja, rakkapunavarpusia, vuorileppälintuja, alppirautiaisia, muttei ihmeeksemme yhtään huutavaa kaukasianlumikanaa!

The grassy area where we were was full of different kind of flowers and lots of birds: a flock of Shore Larks (penicillata) was feeding close to our tent, Alpine Accentors were singing all around us and flying from rock to rock, Twites were flying around and Water Pipits were still everywhere.
Tasangolla, jolla telttapaikkamme oli, kasvoi valtavasti erilaisia kukkia ja lintujakin riitti: tunturikiuruparvi (penicillata) ruokaili vain parin kymmenen metrin päässä teltoistamme, alppirautiaiset lentelivät kiviltä toisille laulamaan, vuorihemppoja lenteli äännellen ylitsemme ja vuorikirvisiä riitti yhä.

The wind was almost stormy but it was good because we were going to do seawatching to Cap de Creus. The drive to Cap de Creus was long and on the way we saw some very nice birds when the road was climbing on the high hills. In Pla de Gates we saw 3 Alpine Accentors (lifer for potu), a Ring Ouzel and also briefly a couple of Thekla Larks (lifer for potu).
Tuuli oli yhä todella kova, mutta sehän lupasi vain hyvää iltapäiväämme ajatellen, sillä otimme suunnaksi Cap de Creusin niemen, jossa tarkoituksenamme oli yrittää nähdä merilintuja. Ajo niemen kärkeen oli pitkä, mutta rannikon läheisillä kukkuloilla kävi tie välillä todella korkealla ja Pla de Gatesissa näimme muutamia todella mukavia lajeja, kuten 3 alppirautiaista (elis Potulle), sepelrastaan sekä vilaukselta pari kärkeen ravintolan edustalle ja kävelimme järjettömässä tuulessa pienen matkan aivan kärkeen kallion taakse tuulen suojaan staijaamaan.
