BEI states that, as a direct result of Iraq’s invasion and occupation of Kuwait, MEW failed to pay all amounts owing under the contract from 1 August 1990 to 3 March 1991.
MEW asserts that 23 contracts in relation to the repair, maintenance, construction or upgrade of MEW’s water network were interrupted by Iraq’s invasion and occupation of Kuwait.
