As grounds, they cite the fact that 600 hectares of this land are home to pine and holm oak woods and to protected bird species such as the sparrowhawk (Accipiter nisus), Bonelli’s eagle (Hieraetus fasciatus), common kestral (Falco tinnunculus), hobby (Falco subbuteo), barn owl (Tyto alba), tawny owl (Otus scops), short-eared owl (Asio flammeus), long-eared owl (Asio otus), little owl (Athene noctua) and the nightjar (Caprimulgus europaeus).
