ORDER OF THE TRIBUNAL In summary, the Tribunal orders that the Respondents: (a) cease the discriminatory practice of requiring candidates for the position of navigational officer/navigational officer cadet to have no greater that a 30 decibel hearing loss in either ear without giving such candidates an opportunity to prove themselves by means of a realistic and practical test to the satisfaction of a supervisor, wearing a hearing aid if practicable; and (b) compensate the Complainant by payment of $36,479.00 for loss of income to July l992.
