(30) - The United Kingdom authorities seem, therefore, implicitly to admit in principle that in the event of revocation (or non-renewal) of an original MA or voluntary surrender not followed by an application for an MA for a different variant of the medicinal product in question, it is not in any event permissible to authorise on the basis of MAL 2 (PI) parallel imports of the product from other Member States in which it is covered by valid authorisations, with the result that it is necessary for the MCA to undertake the procedure for complete evaluation provided for by the Directive.
EurLex-2 EurLex-2
