Las tres nuevas recomendaciones conjuntas proponen asimismo ampliar la aplicación de la exención de minimis, como prevé el artículo 15, apartado 4, letra c), del Reglamento (UE) n.o 1380/2013, a la merluza (Merluccius merluccius) y los salmonetes (Mullus spp.), hasta un 6 % en 2019 y 2020 y hasta un 5 % en 2021, del total anual de capturas de dichas especies efectuadas por buques que utilicen redes de arrastre de fondo (OTB, OTT, PTB, TBN, TBS, TB, OT, PT y TX), y hasta un 1 % en 2019, 2020 y 2021 del total anual de capturas de dichas especies efectuadas por buques que utilicen redes de enmalle y trasmallos (GNS, GN, GND, GNC, GTN, GTR, GEN) en el mar Mediterráneo occidental, en el Adriático y en el Mediterráneo sudoriental.
