In response to this situation, proposals(2) to issue eurobonds have been put forward by the President of the Eurogroup, Jean-Claude Juncker, and the Italian Minister of Economic Affairs, Giulio Tremonti, backed by statements by prominent economists of the largest private financial companies(3), such as the largest investment bond company (Pacific Investment Management Co.)(4); in addition, the European Parliament has adopted a resolution(5) on the permanent crisis mechanism, which raises the issue of specifying the conditions under which a future system of eurobonds will be beneficial to the eurozone.not-set not-set
