While most control equipment for household use, e.g. thermostats, falls within the scope of Directive 2002/95/EC[3] (RoHS Directive), measuring devices such as fever and room thermometers, barometers, blood pressure gauges and manometers do not depend on electric currents to work properly and therefore fall outside of the scope of the RoHS Directive.
