The grapes are harvested and the wines made and developed within the municipalities of the department of the Vendée listed below, as approved by the National Institute of Origin and Quality at the meeting of the competent national committee on 10 February 2011: Auchay-sur-Vendée for the territory of the delegated municipality of Auzay, Brem-sur-Mer, Bretignolles-sur-Mer, Le Champ-Saint-Père, Chantonnay, Château-Guibert, La Couture, L'Île-d'Olonne, Longèves, Mareuil-sur-Lay-Dissais, Olonne-sur-Mer, Pissotte, Le Poiré-sur-Velluire, Rives de l'Yon, Rosnay, Le Tablier, Vairé, Vix.

Zo werden de wijnen met de geografische benaming “Brem” via de haven van Saint-Martin-de-Brem vervoerd, de wijnen met de benamingen “Mareuil” en “Chantonnay” via de vallei van de Lay en die met de benamingen “Vix” en “Pissotte” via de monding van de Vendée.
Wines of the geographical designation ‘Brem’ were transported through the port of Saint-Martin-de-Brem; wines of ‘Mareuil’ and ‘Chantonnay’ through the valley of the Lay river; and those of ‘Vix’ and ‘Pissotte’ through the mouth of the Vendée.
