Ten vervolge op de arresten van 9 maart 2006, Werhof (C‐499/04, EU:C:2006:168; hierna: „arrest Werhof”), en 18 juli 2013, Alemo-Herron e.a. (C‐426/11, EU:C:2013:521; hierna: „arrest Alemo-Herron e.a.”), stelt de onderhavige zaak de algemene vraag aan de orde of een verkrijgende werkgever na een overgang van onderneming kan worden verplicht de arbeidsvoorwaarden toe te passen die voortvloeien uit na die overgang vastgestelde collectieve overeenkomsten.
