Er is ook vooruitgang geboekt op het gebied van crisis- en kwetsbaarheidsbeoordelingen via de ontwikkeling van een gemeenschappelijke, transparante en wetenschappelijk onderbouwde indicator inzake humanitair risico (InfoRM[30]) die is gebaseerd op open data en is gericht op het harmoniseren van het rampenrisicobeheer door de diverse humanitaire actoren (een gezamenlijk initiatief van het Permanent Comité van VN-organisaties en de Europese Commissie en donors, ngo ́s en lidstaten).
