För att göra planeringen av public servicesändningar friare och mindre beroende av kommersiella krav föreskrivs i artikel 53, punkt VI i lag nr 86–1067 av den 30 september 1986 om kommunikationsfrihet, i ändrad lydelse, att reklaminslagen ska minska för att så småningom upphöra helt: De program som sänds mellan klockan 20.00 och klockan 6.00 inom ramen för de nationella tv-tjänster som avses i punkt I i artikel 44, med undantag för de regionala och lokala programmen, ska inte innehålla några reklaminslag utöver sådana som gäller varor och tjänster som presenteras under sin generiska benämning.
In order to increase the freedom of programming of public broadcasting and to reduce its dependence on commercial constraints, Article 53, Section VI of Law No 86-1067 of 30 September 1986, amended, on Freedom of Communication provides for the reduction then the discontinuance of advertising messages: ‘The programmes broadcasted between 20:00 and 06:00 of the national television services referred to in Section I of Article 44, with the exception of their regional and local programmes, shall not include any advertising messages other than those for goods or services presented under their generic name.EurLex-2 EurLex-2
