To this he said: “Do swear+ to me by God* that you will not put me to death, and that you will not surrender me into the hand of my master,+ and I shall lead you down to this marauder band.”

15So David asked him, “Will you take me down to this band of raiders?”

15 And David said unto him, Wilt thou bring me down unto this troop?

And he said, Swear unto me by God, that thou wilt neither kill me, nor deliver me up into the hands of my master, and I will bring thee down to this troop.

15David sade till honom: “Vill du föra mig ned till den rövarskaran?”
15And David said to him, “Will you take me down to this band?”

Han svarade: »Lova mig med ed vid Gud att du icke dödar mig eller utlämnar mig åt min herre, så vill jag föra dig ned till den rövarskaran.»
And he said, Swear to me by God that you will not kill me, or hand me back to my master, and I will bring you down to this raiding party.

And he said, "Swear to me by God, that you will not kill me, or deliver me into the hands of my master, and I will take you down to this band."

And he saidSwear unto me by God, that thou wilt not put me to death, neither wilt thou surrender me into the hand of my lord, and I will bring thee down unto this troop.

He said, “Swear to me by God that you will not kill me and that you will not deliver me into my master’s hand! Then I will take you down to this band.”
