81 It must be stated in this connection, in the first place, that the Court has admittedly acknowledged that employment policy objectives such as those seeking, on the one hand, to standardise, in the context of professions in the public sector, the age limits for mandatorily ceasing activity and, on the other hand, to encourage the establishment of a more balanced age structure by facilitating the access for young people to, inter alia, the profession of judge may be regarded as legitimate (see, to that effect, judgments of 21 July 2011, Fuchs and Köhler, C‐159/10 and C‐160/10, EU:C:2011:508, paragraph 50, and of 6 November 2012, Commission v Hungary, C‐286/12, EU:C:2012:687, paragraphs 61 and 62).Eurlex2019 Eurlex2019
