31 Bovendien is de term „cannabis” een Latijnse wetenschappelijke benaming die gekend is niet alleen in verschillende talen van de Europese Gemeenschap, zoals blijkt uit punt 24 van de bestreden beslissing en zoals verzoeker zelf in het verzoekschrift heeft benadrukt, maar ook door het grote publiek als gevolg van de mediatisering van deze term, waardoor hij in het hele grondgebied van de Gemeenschap voor het doelpubliek begrijpbaar is (zie in die zin, mutatis mutandis, arrest Hof van 9 maart 2006, Matratzen Concord, C‐421/04, Jurispr. blz. I‐2303, punt 32).
31 Furthermore, the word ‘cannabis’ is a Latin scientific term which is well known, first, in a number of European Community languages, as is apparent from paragraph 24 of the contested decision and as the applicant himself demonstrates in the application, and, secondly, to the general public as a result of media coverage, rendering it comprehensible to the target consumer throughout the Community (see, to that effect and by analogy, Case C-421/04 Matratzen Concord [2006] ECR I-2303, paragraph 32).EurLex-2 EurLex-2
