13 Efter en varslad strejk av de tariffanställda utmynnade förhandlingarna i att ett kollektivavtal undertecknades den 17 april 1998 mellan Cockerill Sambre och de fackföreningar som representerade de berörda arbetstagarna (nedan kallat kollektivavtalet).
