9 – „Betriebsrat“ je podle německého práva orgán pro zastupování zaměstnanců podniku, který má řadu oprávnění, počínaje pouhým právem na informace a konče pravomocí spolurozhodovat v oblastech vyjmenovaných zákonem a pravomocí, z níž vyplývá, že zaměstnavatel musí získat souhlas tohoto orgánu před přijetím některých rozhodnutí, zejména individuálních opatření, jako je přijímání zaměstnanců, v souladu s ustanovením § 99 BetrVG.
