It is sufficient to point out in this regard that Article 24 of the WIPO Copyright Treaty describes six languages as being equally authentic, although these include, not surprisingly in the case of a WIPO treaty, not only French, English and Spanish — three official languages of the European Union — but also Russian, Arabic and Chinese, which, de lege lata, cannot in any way be taken into account for the purposes of interpreting the Directive.
